Who is responsible for your data

The organizer identified with an event or order is responsible for the participants’ data, the information requested and its purpose.
Data we use
Accounts require a first name, last name and email address. Depending on the registration or order, we also process contact and billing details, form answers, participant details, tickets and payment records. Organizers may request additional information such as a birth date. Required fields are marked; without them a service may be unavailable.
Data comes from you, the person placing the order, a legal representative, the organizer or payment records. Security records may include IP addresses and request times.
Why we use data
We use data for accounts, registrations, orders, payments, communication and support. The legal basis is performance of a contract, steps before a contract, a legal obligation or legitimate interests in security and protecting rights. Optional processing may require separate consent. Registration does not consent to advertising or optional tracking.
Payments
Card payments use Stripe Checkout and the organizer’s connected Stripe account. Stripe processes payment details under its own applicable terms and privacy information. The application records payment status and financial references needed for the order. Bank transfer details are used when the organizer enables that method.
We send account and order messages, including sign-in links, confirmations, tickets and organizer information. The existing delivery service uses Amazon SES in Frankfurt, processing recipient addresses, messages and attachments.
Delivery and errors are recorded. Some order and organizer messages measure opening through an image associated with the recipient and loading time. Security messages do not use this measurement.
Where data is processed
The main database and accounts run on self-managed Hetzner servers. Cloudflare provides website delivery, security, files and encrypted backups. Organizers and their authorized staff have access as needed.
Optional Google sign-in provides an account identifier, verified email and name. Google Fonts supplies fonts and icons. Online maps may load OpenStreetMap resources. These providers receive IP addresses and request information. Browser location requires permission.
Some providers have global infrastructure. Transfers outside the European Economic Area require appropriate safeguards, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. Ask the contact address for details.
Website traffic and browser storage
This English profile includes no browser analytics script. Hosting and security services process requests needed to deliver and protect the website. Server records may include IP addresses, requested paths and technical information. These records are not described as anonymous. Related processing relies on legitimate interests in availability, capacity and security.
The browser stores sign-in state, language, appearance and application cache. Remove them in browser settings; doing so may sign you out.
Retention
Account data is retained while the account is used. Registrations and orders remain as needed for the event, settlement and complaints, and longer where law or protection of legal claims requires it. The organizer determines event-specific retention. Email records support delivery, troubleshooting and evidence of the service. Deleted data may temporarily remain in older backups.
Your rights
Depending on the processing, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, object or withdraw consent. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. Write to info@festapp.net, and to the organizer for event data. We normally respond within one month and inform you of any lawful extension. You may complain to the Czech supervisory authority at Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů.
